Back with a Vengeance!

Back with a Vengeance!!

I'm back after a few month's hiatus! Though I've been inactive here I have been putting in work when it comes to my writing. After several months of trudging, writing, and rewriting I've finally made some headway into my first novel. My novel in progress, The Super Novas, set at 22 chapters is now a little over halfway complete. I've just hit my fourteenth chapter and so far I'm loving where it's going. For those of you unfamiliar with my novel you can find an excerpt here and for those too lazy to open the link I'll let you know that it's a high octane adventure story starring the titular characters as they come together as a team to save the world. However things aren't as simple as that when it comes to superhero fare and even less so when it comes to my interpretations. Readers of the story will find themselves thrust into an earth much like our own aside from the presence of costumed crime-fighters and caped crusaders. Our main characters aren't much like your average group of heroes and it shows within the first few pages of the novel.

I'm hoping to have it complete by years end and after that I hope to find an agent to pitch this too. (Wish me luck!!)

That isn't the only thing I've been working on though.

I've got several stories on the back burner that I'll be finishing up and posting up here within the coming weeks. Expect to see Hell Hath Fury, Conversations in Tights - One Sunday Morning, and X-men: Celestial Wars.

Hell Hath Fury tells the tale of a former super-heroine known as the Fury who's family is ripped away from her in the wake of a fire caused by enemies from her past. Now with nothing left to lose she vows that her enemies will know her power.

Conversations in Tights - One Sunday Morning is a continuation on the series of vignettes I've started up. It tells the simple story of what titans do on their day off and how they cope with boredom.

X-men: Celestial Wars features the Marvel Comics Merry Band of mutants in a story that I've been cooking up over several years. After having their species decimated thanks to the actions of on of their own the X-men find themselves on the outs with humanity and embark on a quest that will span the galaxy in hopes of restoring their number. However not everything goes as planned and nothing ever comes easy for the X-men.

Aside from those I've got several other ideas brewing and I only hope I'll have the time to get them all out. I've even got the bare-bones for my next novel in the works. Does anybody hate rush hour traffic? Well my next novel spins out of that notion and goes into a very deadly direction.

I hope to bring more content and more readers but until then I just want to say thanks for reading.
